United Nations Says 80 Countries May Ramp Up Climate Pledges

"UNITED NATIONS — About 80 countries want to increase their climate pledges ahead of schedule under the Paris climate accord, the United Nations said Tuesday, signaling that some of them would do so at a summit of world leaders in September." Ellen White penned, "The agencies of evil are combining their forces, and consolidating. They are strengthening for the last great crisis. Great changes are soon to take place in our world, and the final movements will be rapid ones." --Testimonies, vol. 9, p 11.

Scotland just became the first country to declare a climate emergency

Climate emergencies, as even suggested by politicians in the United States, allow for Martial Law, executive orders, etc. "And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon"
(Revelation 13:11). Countries are getting ready for the US to take the lead.

America’s First Post-Christian Generation Rises—but There’s Hope

The article states that Generation Z is basically atheist in large quantities as no generation before it. "The fool hath said in his heart, [There is] no God" (Psalms 14:1). "[There is] a generation, whose teeth [are as] swords, and their jaw teeth [as] knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from [among] men"
(Proverbs 30:14), keeping in mind that “the poor in spirit” are God's people.

Power of prayer helps spell victory for youth in national tournament

To reduce prayer into win competition is an abomination towards God. When the Bible says, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me" (Philippians 4:13) and "With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26), it referred to gaining victory over sin and living a righteous life. It is not about spelling the words correctly, scoring points, or winning in any competition. It is a mockery when we use prayer in that manner.

Unity is first sign of true Christian witness, pope says

Now that Protestants and Catholics are considered unified, they are waiting for "fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men" (Rev-elation 13:13). Unfortunately, it will be used to "deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by [the means of] those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast"
(Revelation 13:14).

Pope Francis declares 'climate emergency' and urges action

The article states "Addressing energy leaders, pope warns of ‘catastrophic’ effects of global heating". Once again, "For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies" (Rev-elation 18:3).

Climate emergency declarations in 623 jurisdictions and local governments cover 83 million citizens

"623 jurisdictions in 13 countries have declared a climate emergency. Populations covered by jurisdictions that have declared a climate emergency amount to 83 million citizens, with 35 million of these living in the United Kingdom. This means in Britain roughly 53 per cent of the population lives in areas that have declared a climate emergency, 49 per cent in New Zealand, 32 per cent in Canada, and around 15 per cent in New Zealand, Switzerland, and Spain." That just marks 13 countries waiting for the papacy solution -- Sunday rest for the planet. "And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive [his] mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:  And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name" (Rev. 14:9-11).

Leading Labor Unions and Environmental Groups Join Forces to Act on Climate

"The trades unions will be one of the agencies that will bring upon this earth a time of trouble such as has not been since the world began."--Letter 200, 1903.

'For the sake of generations to come': Faith leaders unite on climate change

"More than 150 religious leaders  issued an open letter to Mr Morrison." "The wide diversity of belief in the Protestant churches is regarded by many as decisive proof that no effort to secure a forced uniformity can ever be made. But there has been for years, in churches of the Protes-tant faith, a strong and growing sentiment in favor of a union based upon common points of doctrine"  {GC88 444.1}

New York City declares a climate emergency, the first US city with more than a million residents to do so

Although there is no legislation to mandate anything at this time, we as a people have believed that legislation will be progressive. "Any movement in favor of religious legislation is really an act of concession to the papacy, which for so many ages has steadily warred against liberty of conscience. Sunday observance owes its existence as a so-called Christian institution to "the mystery of iniquity;" and its enforcement will be a virtual recognition of the principles which are the very cornerstone of Romanism. When our nation shall so abjure the principles of its government as to enact a Sunday law, Protestantism will in this act join hands with popery; it will be nothing else than giving life to the tyranny which has long been eagerly watching its opportunity to spring again into active despotism" {5T 711.4}. One may ask, "Is this actually a religious legislation? I can't see it." It is a step because the pope declared climate change to be a religious issue. Legislators do not have to blatantly state that it is religious act. Going along with the progression of climate change legislation is a step in that acknowledgment.

UK becomes first country in world to commit to ending climate change by law

The UK is ripe for the US to dictate the Sunday law climate change answer. This is not going to just start in the US with Sunday mandatory law and then take years to enforce around the world, but rather, the nations are already getting ready for it to be sprung. "History will be repeated. False religion will be exalted. The first day of the week, a common working day, possessing no sanctity whatever, will be set up as was the image of Babylon. All nations and tongues and peoples will be commanded to worship this spurious sabbath. . . . The decree enforcing the worship of this day is to go forth to all the world."--7BC 976 (1897).

When you watch TV, your TV may be watching you

Picture this... you are called to court to give a reason for your faith. And when testifying, the opposing party brings out evidence of what you were watching and your reaction to it like in a split screen manner. May our motto be instead of watching TV, "I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; [it] shall not cleave to me" (Psalms 101:3).

Pope: Orthodox and Catholics joining forces to meet present challenges

"Patriarch Bartholomew, said the Pope, has 'inspired' him with his attention for the protection of creation. Given the alarming ecological crisis that we are experiencing, promoting care for our common home is not only, for us believers as for all others, a pressing need that can no longer be deferred, but also a concrete way to serve our neighbour in the spirit of the Gospel."

"As we approach the last crisis, it is of vital moment that harmony and unity exist among the Lord's instrumentalities. The world is filled with storm and war and variance. Yet under one head--the papal power--the people will unite to oppose God in the person of His witnesses. This union is cemented by the great apostate" {7T 182.2}.

Farm documentary shows ‘Laudato Si” put into practice

Movies sell. And in this case, showing that Laudato Si works is simply furthering the agenda. "The Sunday movement is now making its way in darkness. The leaders are concealing the true issue, and many who unite in the movement do not themselves see whither the undercurrent is tending. Its professions are mild and apparently Christian, but when it shall speak it will reveal the spirit of the dragon" {5T 452.1}.
